Search Directions / Pointers

The search works much like google. Here are few special pointers that should help with your search. If you have any questions, please direct them to Brenna Wanous, Great Lakes Town Hall Manager.

*Use quotes to search for a phrase.

For example, "bottled water" in field #4 or #5 will return posts that contain "bottled water" rather than posts that contain "bottled" and "water".

*The more fields you specify, the more you'll narrow your search.

For example, "Dave Dempsey" in field #3 and Chicago in field #5, you'll only retrieve posts that were posted by "Dave Dempsey" and have Chicago in the post text.

*Use AND, OR and the minus sign to refine your search.

For example, Superior AND Michigan in field #5 will return posts with both Superior and Michigan in the post's body, while Superior OR Michigan will return posts with either Superior or Michigan, and Superior -Michigan will return posts with Superior but no mention of Michigan.
