About Me

I am an artist and a scientist, constantly leaning and always mindful. I am inspired by the natural world and propelled by the actions of humans. I strive to understand the world by drawing connections and living by example. We create the outline of every step we take in our lives, and the beauty is not knowing where that step will lead us.

I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota attended high school in Minneapolis.  There I grew an interest in the natural sciences, spanish language and studio art.  I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying Biology Conservation and Environmental studies. I spent my junior year studying abroad in Ecuador, where I was introducted to tropical and community conservation.  This past summer I lived in northern Wisconsin near Boulder Junction at the UW Limnology research station.  This was my first influentital introduction to just a few of the Great Lakes issues.  I work with children in Madison, which teaches me something new every day.

I will graduate this spring and I plan to work in environmental education around Madison. I would live to resume traveling, espcially to Ecuador to pursue a local cooperative project and make connections between communities, working towards similar goals.
